Screening appointments occur in the Cardiology Department which is located in the East block on level 3. Please report to the reception desk in the department at least 15 minutes before your appointment

By Bus: First Eastern Counties divides Norwich into 5 fare zones, and fares relate to the number of zones through which you travel. The hospital is located within zone 4. By Train: 'One' Railways provide services between London Liverpool Street, Colchester, Ipswich and Norwich as well as local services starting and finishing in Norwich and Ipswich including all stations to Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Sheringham, Felixstowe, Cambridge and Peterborough and services to Harwich International. Timetables for Norwich station. From Norwich Station, our advice is to use a taxi to get to the Hospital a 20 minute journey across  the city.

By Car: We are encouraging road users to use the Costessey Park & Ride. This goes from NNUH to the Costessey Park & Ride and back. The journey takes between 7 and 10 minutes depending on the time of day.  Please make the driver aware that you are travelling to the hospitals as this is a request stop only.  From Costessey Park & Ride, buses run every 12 minutes peak and 15 minutes off peak, all day, Monday to Friday from 07.00 with the last bus leaving the hospital at 18.42. It's costs £2.00 per vehicle and up to eight people (maximum of 5 adults) may travel together on the same ticket.  Tickets should be obtained from onsite ticket vending machines. You will be issued with two tickets.  Display the "Park" ticket in your vehicle and show the "Ride" ticket to the driver as you board the bus. For queries related to park and ride call 0844 800 8003

Parking:  There are a total of 850 parking spaces for patients and visitors at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.  There are car parks for in-patients (car parks K, M and O) located next to the wards and larger car parks on the other side of the hospital for out-patients (car parks B, C, D, F, G, H, I).  On busy days it may be difficult to find a space and our car park staff will direct you to the nearest available space. Parking costs £2 for upto 3h on Monday to Friday 06.00 - 17.30. There are 80 parking spaces provided for motorcycles situated either side of the staff car park (Car Park E). These spaces are not under cover but there are secured ring bars to chain motorcycles to. There is no charge for parking motorcycles.
